Heading to the Galley this summer? The Galley has a very special place in my heart, as it’s where Blake and I got engaged two years ago. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink or enjoy dinner as you watch the sunset over the ocean. Even better, it’s right near town, so you can continue the fun after dinner.

Finally, snow!! I felt like a little kid this morning, waking up super early in anticipation for the snow. When I looked out the window to see a few inches on the ground, I immediately bundled up, dragged Blake out of bed, grabbed my camera and started shooting.
There is something so beautiful about the light when it snows. Ever picture seems more beautiful, with an added element of bliss. Today Blake was such a trooper, standing out in the snow taking photos in the freezing cold! Personally, I enjoy taking pictures early in the morning when no one is around. As Blake a attest to, I get extremely camera shy and totally freeze up when other people stop and stare. I guess when you’re taking pictures in the middle of winter with no coat you probably give them a reason to stare! #bloggerproblems
It is officially freezing in Boston! Although, to be fair, this year’s cold does not compare to the “Polar Vortex” we were experiencing at this time last year. We did have one day last week where Boston public schools were closed, but compared to last year, I’ll take it! I promise not to complain too much though, since my commute got cut nearly in half when my office moved this fall (just in time for the cold weather!). I now walk about 5 minutes across the street to work (in less I hit up Starbucks!). SO nice!
